My city is very old,it (found) in 1005. Kazan (destroy) by wars and fires. After one of the fires the icon Our Lady of Kazan (discover). Today it is a famous icon and it(respect) by many Christians.
During the Great Patriotic War Kazan(become) an important city where planes and tanks(produce).
Today Kazan is capital of Tatarstan.In 2005 we(celebrate) its birthday, one millenium. The Kazan Kremlin was the centre of the celebration. The Kremlin(include) Muslim and Christian monuments.The Qol Sharif mosque(rebuild)in 1996,it's one of the largest mosques in Russia.The magnificent Blagoveshensky Cathedral(build)in the middle of the sixteenth century.
