The film portrays the brutalities and horrors of the Holocaust and the struggle of one man to survive in the face of unimaginable adversity. The acting is superb, especially Adrien Brody's portrayal of the main character, and the cinematography is stunning. I was deeply moved by this film and it gave me a greater appreciation for the resilience of the human spirit.
